About This Game Bob Was Hungry is a challenging precision platformer with many levels designed to truly test your platforming skills.Bobs have been scouring the universe for food for millions of years. However, time has passed, and food has become scarce. Greedy bobs so carelessly ate two or three cheese planets at a time, and now cheese planets are as rare to find as a bob with a full stomach.Bobs unable to stumble upon one of the last extremely rare cheese-havens were forced out into the unknown. Now they traverse as many planets as they can in hopes of finding a scrap of food to survive. Unfortunately, their trips are dangerous, and the planets are treacherous. Not as good in Singleplayer.Very fun and challenging.At first i had connection problems with my friend, but then i hosted the game and it worked.Sometimes we got a blackscreen but this is easily solved if the players that are not the host, leave the game and rejoin.Overall very well crafted little game and worth its price.Hard mode can be problematic. The levels in Hard mode aren't really as well designed as those in normal mode. It basically just adds additional things you can die from. Sometimes in hard mode you also have to deal with strange camera angles and that you're not always able to see where you are jumping.Be warned: this game is at least as hard as Super Meat Boy. sAbAr iTu PeNtInG WoO 👍. I bought Bob Was Hungry expecting something a bit like Super meat boy. but it kinda isn't, yet it has very familiar mechanics. its a game about a weird orange ball that seeks food around the most dangerous places, i'm only a few hours in going into the game and not too far in because i'm trying to collect everything. this game is very fun when you aren't raging because you didn't get the food you wanted for beating the level.This Platformer is definately worth giving a try. a test of patience, i'd give it a 10/10 but there is one thing i abselutely didn't like about the game, RNG.when you beat a level and did get the collectible. There is a 1/3 chance to get a paticular food and a 1/3 chance to get a paticular topping, and in every level there are 6 "food combinations" to collect. and when you get 5 there is only a mere 1/6 chance that your win is actualy worth anything but the score from time.that part of the game makes you need to do the same annoying levels countless times if your aiming at completion, but its not exactly game breaking. this game is great and difficult, 9.5/10. It starts as a little fuzzy jump and run game and in the next moment its super meat bob boy.10/10 would buy again.. Great precise platformer,which is not locked to 60fps like all *cough* Edmund McMillen *cough* games.The only bad thing is that the down key has no effect on movement.And it has a lame food system that requires you to replay the levels a massive amount of times, but that can be safely ignored.You can see on the trailer how attractive the game is :D:. Too hard too soon.Edit: I notice the above statement gave someone a chuckle, but I shall elaborate - Basically, I got to the third level before some frustrating elements were introduced, most notably the nail in the cliff wall. I can understand making the game challenging, but three levels in!? That's ridiculous. It looks nice and colourful with cute characters. But the difficulty is unforgivable.
